Hello, brothers and sisters!
At this time of saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. I wish everyone good luck in the Year of the Dog!
Thinking back to this day in 2008, I wrote the first word of "The Legend of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality" in order to fulfill a dream of mine.
Now it has been a full ten years, and I have also walked from the age of 30 to the age of 40.
I often see the messages left by my friends who are fans of the book, saying that they saw the birth of a child when they were in high school. I am truly touched and have a lot to say to everyone.
When I first wrote "The Legend of a Mortal", it was purely out of interest. I never thought of becoming famous. It was not until I became a web novelist that I realized that my journey was very bumpy and full of ups and downs.
If it weren't for the support of my friends who are fans of the book, I'm afraid I wouldn't have been able to go so far by myself, let alone continue to write the "Immortal's World" chapter. This is something that I didn't even dare to think about at the beginning.
In fact, to me, the process of writing is like cultivating to become an immortal.
As a mortal, I just want to diligently and down-to-earth walk a path of creation that belongs to me. Although I have experienced hardships and dangers, it is also full of all kinds of opportunities.
And to me, the biggest opportunity in writing is to meet a group of enthusiastic, honest, witty, and kind book fans. It is you who have spurred me on again and again on this thorny road!
Now that the "Immortal's World" chapter is gradually on the right track, I can't do without the contributions of my brothers and sisters. Every time you vote, every message, is reminding me not to forget my original intention!
Just like when I wrote the first book, "The Legend of a Mortal", I will treat it as a difficult cultivation, a journey that you and I share in life.
Regardless of whether the road in the future is smooth or not, as long as you are there, I will continue to walk no matter how difficult it is. I will give everyone and myself a satisfactory answer.
