Chapter 1406

On the first of August, "The Lord of Dreams" was officially released. I am very grateful to all my readers for their support. Without everyone's encouragement and motivation, the book "The Lord of Dreams" might not have been published.

When I was young, like millions of China children, my favorite was "Journey to the West".

This book could be said to be the first long story in China. Tang Seng and his disciple went to the West on a quest for Buddhist scriptures. Tang Seng and his disciple went through eighty-one difficulties … Those colorful stories were simply irresistible.

At that time, I went to bed early at night. I would even read it under the blanket with a flashlight.

I didn't care whether Tang Seng obtained the scriptures or not. Instead, I was fascinated by the story of Sun Wukong subduing demons and devils.

Perhaps it was the experience of my childhood, or perhaps "Journey to the West" had already planted a seed in my subconscious. Ever since I started writing this book, I have often thought that if I had the chance to write about this topic in the future, I would definitely write a different "Journey to the West".

"The Lord of Dreams" could be considered a different kind of "Journey to the West". The entire story included some familiar plots of the "Journey to the West", but there would also be some expanded stories and plots based on the background of the "Journey to the West". There might even be some demons and ghosts that did not appear in the "Journey to the West".

Of course, the most interesting thing was the main character, Shen Luo, who was tortured by dreams. Those strange and wonderful dreams, were they real or imaginary? Did everything in the dreams really happen and appear?

Since the birth of mankind, dreams have existed.

This ancient physiological phenomenon was often regarded as a kind of omen related to the future in ancient times. Those warm, frightening, sweet, and chaotic dreams had made many ancient people confused and uneasy.

Starting from Zhuang Zhou's dream of the butterfly, the ancient people of China had always had a deep respect for dreams. In addition to a large number of poems that talked about dreams, many ancient legends also used dreams as the theme, such as the famous "Four Dreams of Lin Chuan".

"The Lord of Dreams" was a Xianxia story that intertwined the "Journey to the West" and the story of dreams. I believe that this unique innovation and concept will definitely make readers feel refreshed and interested.

Alright, let's not talk too much!

Tomorrow, the new book will be published. There will be five chapters in a row. I hope my friends will support "The Lord of Dreams"!!!
