Lu: ?
Looking at the question mark sent over to her, Su Ran’s lips twitched for a while and she still hadn’t been able to come up with what to tell Lu Shao.
Su: Em, Su Han’s class teacher said we only need one parent in the chat group.
Su: I can just relay the information to you.
Su Ran spent a lot of time to come up with a somewhat reasonable excuse for Lu Shao.
She just made it up on the fly but, lo and behold, Lu Shao sent over a two-word reply in a little while.
Lu: That works.
Whatever did he mean by “that works”?
Su Ran was baffled.
Even through the cellphone screen Su Ran could tell the seriousness in Lu Shao’s tone.
“What’s with that look?” Su Han couldn’t help but asked when he spotted the strange look on Su Ran while holding onto her cellphone.
“Nothing, I was talking to you fa….” Half way though her sentence, Su Ran noticed the resentful and discontent look coming from her son and stopped herself.
“Ahem, Mr. Lu. You okay with ‘Mr. Lu’, right?” said Su Ran, perturbed.
“Whatever.”
“Alright, I was just wondering what he meant by this.” Su Ran tried her best to put on a what-just-happened-wasn’t-funny-at-alland did-I-laugh-no-I-did-not casual look.
Having said that, Su Ran even showed the text on her phone to Su Han.
Su Han didn’t not care about anything that had to do with that old man at all but, seeing how Su Ran had pushed her cellphone his way, he finally couldn’t help but narrowed his eyes and looked at the message on the screen.
“Pffft.” Su Han sneered and didn’t even try to hide his look of contempt. “He’s just stupid. What else could he mean by that?’
“Tsk. Did he think that pretending to be serious now could hide how stupid he was being earlier?” added Su Ran with a look of despise.
Su Ran: Son, you seem to know your daddy very well?
“That being said.” Su Han paused and frowned all of a sudden. He grumbled, “Why did you add him to my class’s parents’ chat group?”
This was a chat group meant only for his class. Why did a random stranger need to join? Why did that guy need to know about his life at school and his examination scores?
Especially when that man almost referred to himself as Su Han’s father. That thought of that made Su Han extremely unhappy.
Luckily, his class teacher had wisely and heroically booted him out.
Hah! Justice was served, indeed!
Su Ran had no idea what Su Han was thinking about but, the I-have-been-redeemedlook on her made her want to giggle.
As for why she had added Lu Shao to the group.
Mainly because there were announcements made in the group from time to time and also reports on the students, etc. Su Ran felt that it would be a hassle to have to relay everything and it would be much better if Lu Shao could see for himself.
Oh yeah! Then there was this Quality Development Outing event.
Recalling her original purpose of adding him to the group, Su Ran paused for a second. She suddenly realized that she was the only one who walked about it this entire time. Lu Shao merely inquired about it; he never expressed whether he would be attending.
Thinking of that, Su Ran quickly picked up her cellphone and sent a text to Lu Shao.
Su: Em, there’s something that I have forgotten to ask you.
Lu: What is it?
Lu Shao’s reply came instantly.
Su: The Quality Development Outing that you have asked me about will be held at the West Park this weekend.
Su: Are you available that day?
Our team seriously lacks muscles!
Su Ran added quietly to herself.
Lu: Yes.
Lu: I will free my day up.
Su: That will be awesome. I will send you the related information then.
The response from Lu Shao was: No need. I have them.
Except that it was quickly recalled before Su Ran could read it.
Lu: Okay.
Lu: Thanks in advance.
