A+ A- Eye On

chapter 90

After staying to complete the production of the music, Su Ran declined their passionate invitation to have dinner together and took off from the studio.

On her way home, Su Ran looked at the two texts that she had received. Finally, her saving had increased by a whole digit. Su Ran felt very happy. In her bank card, there was the obscene amount of income that she had just made.

She had also sent the music files that she had prepared over to Lu Shao’s mailbox that he had provided to her previously.

She wrote him a short text: Hi, Mr. Lu. I have already sent the music files to your mailbox. Please confirm upon receipt.

Sent.

It was her intention to make Su Han a Second Generation Rich but, as of right now, her family was very poor.

As such, when she arrived home that day, she thought about it for a little while and accepted Lu Shao’s job offer.

She had recorded these songs using Yu LeLe’s Studio facilities when she was there earlier, so their quality was quite good.

She had sent over four piano pieces in total.

One was “Collecting One’s Memories”; another one was “The Fifth Song of the Night”. The remaining two were songs that she composed in her old world. They were called “Serenity” and “Deepen“, respectively. They were very effective at calming irritation and making one feel zen.

She had no idea why Lu Shao has insomnia, but she felt that these were the right songs for him.

It didn’t take Lu Shao long to reply back to her after she sent the text.

[We should add each other on WeChat.]

[Sure. My cell number is my WeChat account. You can add me.]

The status has been “read” for a long while, but she did not receive a response back from him.

Right when Su Ran thought that was kind of strange and started wondering if perhaps, he didn’t want to expose too much information and had changed his mind about WeChat, she received a text from him again.

[Mine is my cell number as well. Why don’t you add me?]

Su Ran: Baffled.

This was just about adding each other on WeChat. They were not fighting in the middle of the street and that it was important who had the higher ground. Did it really matter who’s adding whom?

As much as she thought that, Su Ran still clicked on her cellphone and added him.

[You’ve already added Lu, you can now chat with him.]

[Second Piano Customer – Lu]: Hi, this is Lu Shao.

Su Ran: I know who you are.

“Second Piano Customer – Lu” was the alias that she had given Lu Shao.

[su]: Hi, Mr. Lu. Would you like me to resend you the files on WeChat?

[Second Piano Customer – Lu]: No need. I will listen to them in a bit.

[su]: /OK

Su Ran sent him back an emoji. Just when she thought the conversation was over, Lu Shao sent over another message a minute later.

[Second Piano Customer – Lu]: Hang on.

Inside the Lu’s study.

Lu Shao, who had been very focused on his cellphone, looked up all of a sudden.

Lu BoYang, who had been reading a financial magazine across from him, was startled.

“Third Uncle, what can I do for you?” With Lu BoYang’s attitude, all he needed was a name tag and he’d be able to join the crew member at the Lu’s hotel.

“How much money do you have in WeChat?” asked Lu Shao.

“WeChat? Not that much, tens of thousands yuan, but I have it linked to my bank account.”

“Okay. Send me 1 million yuan.”

“Pffft. A million? Who are you paying Third Uncle? Why don’t you just write a check or have your assistant transfer from your bank account for that amount?’ Lu BoYang was baffled by what the dark lord was up to.

“Not one time. This is the cost of five times.” Lu Shao, for a change, explained in a semi-decent mood?

“What is it? Car maintenance? That expensive? Is it a legit charge?” Lu BoYang couldn’t think of any other places where his Third Uncle would have personal expenditure.

Lu Shao didn’t say anything except to give Lu BoYang a cold look.

Was this nephew of his an idiot? Maybe he should just give up on him already.
