Chaoge was indescribably excited.
Feng Wu didn’t answer her and only looked at Zi Ling.
Zi Ling wasn’t blind. She saw Chaoge receive 1,000 points.
She switched on her armband without further prompting.
“1,000 points transferred.”
The same robotic female voice rang out again.
Zi Ling was grateful and said to Mr. Zhu, “Thank you so much!”
Mr. Zhu’s face was livid. He looked at Feng Wu instead of Zi Ling.
Feng Wu nodded. “You can go now.”
Mr. Zhu left without looking back.
Zi Ling and Chaoge opened their eyes wide in disbelief as they watched Mr. Zhu leave.
Why did it feel like Feng Wu was ordering Mr. Zhu around?
Chaoge and Zi Ling turned around and looked at Feng Wu in unison, both filled with wonder.
Feng Wu said, “Let’s go.”
Chaoge wanted to ask something, but there were too many people around them, so she followed Feng Wu without saying a word.
Mr. Zhu quickly left the cultivation room.
Many students were waiting outside.
There had only been over a dozen of them at first, but when news got around, more students flooded in.
Looking around, Mr. Zhu saw that the place was packed.
There were at least hundreds of people.
Mr. Zhu’s face turned livid.
Just then, Zhen Ya, his daughter, ran excitedly toward him.
She blinked, unable to contain her excitement.
“Father, did you teach Feng Wu a lesson? I’ll drag her out now.”
Mr. Zhu’s face darkened even more.
Why did she even think she could do that?
Fearing that his ignorant daughter would offend Feng Wu again, he immediately said, “Stop right there!”
He had never spoken so harshly before.
Mr. Zhu glared at her. “Come with me! Now!”
He grabbed her arm and led her away from the crowd.
But Zhen Ya wouldn’t let him.
She threw off his hand. “I still have things to do! I’m not leaving!”
However, Mr. Zhu was worried that his daughter would upset Feng Wu, so he picked her up without hesitation and dragged her away.
Ms. Zhen knew him well and was suspicious of his reaction.
She felt that something wasn’t right.
But she had no idea what.
The students had no idea what happened.
They believed Zhen Ya and thought that Mr. Zhu had taught Feng Wu a lesson.
They expected to see Feng Wu lying on the floor, covered in blood.
Mr. Zhu must have called Chaoge and Zi Ling inside so that they could carry Feng Wu out.
“Why haven’t they carried Feng Wu out yet?”
“Is she too severely injured? Could she have died at the scene?”
“I don’t think so. Mr. Zhu would have to take responsibility if that happens. I think she’s badly wounded, that’s all.”
Just then, the door to the cultivation room opened.
The students outside couldn’t wait to see who would come out.
They were already displeased when Feng Wu turned down the opportunity to become Zuo Qingluan’s friend.
