Feng Wu glanced at Zhen Ya, and Zhen Ya looked back at her, seemingly pleased with herself.
Feng Wu didn’t know what to say.
Zhen Ya smirked inwardly. She had gone to Mr. Luo’s house and complained to him in tears, making it sound like her mom had been through hell.
She decided that if her father wouldn’t do anything to Feng Wu, someone else would.
The event was still taking place in Thousand Night Forest, and they were still going to hunt some magical beasts.
Usually, these events were all about hunting White Lion Elephants, which had been annihilated by Feng Wu. After an emergency meeting, the tutors decided that the students would hunt Nether Wolf Tigers this time.
It was a magical beast with the head of a wolf and the body of a tiger.
They were as powerful as tigers but as cunning as wolves, which made them very difficult to hunt.
The points the students would receive stayed the same.
Pei Si walked at the very front. She turned around and smiled at Feng Wu. “Feng Wu, I heard that you were the one who killed all those White Lion Elephants last time.”
Chaoge had let it slip when the others pushed her too hard.
Feng Wu didn’t stop her from telling others, nor was she deliberately hiding her capability. People just didn’t believe her.
Zhen Ya smirked. It seemed that Pei Si, the second-best student in Class E, didn’t like Feng Wu either. What great news.
Wang Junwen had given her a mission with a reward of 500 points.
It was rather straightforward. She needed to injure Feng Wu to the point that she needed to stay in bed for at least three months.
Pei Si didn’t find the task difficult.
After all, she was the second-best student in Class E and should be able to overpower Feng Wu, the new student.
The problem was how to make it look like an accident.
After some consideration, Pei Si decided to use the Nether Wolf Tigers.
What she didn’t know was that Sun Jingyu had tried something similar once and had failed miserably.
Pei Si’s ignorance gave her confidence.
She smiled at Feng Wu when the first Nether Wolf Tiger appeared. “Feng Wu, would you like to give it a go?”
Feng Wu glanced at her and struck out without hesitation.
With a thump, the Nether Wolf Tiger was sent flying and made a muffled sound when its giant body hit the ground.
Pei Si’s eyes widened, and she stared at Feng Wu.
Chaoge and Zi Ling approached the Nether Wolf Tiger when Feng Wu was done.
One opened the Nether Wolf Tiger’s head and removed the crystal core.
The other skinned the beast.
The whole process took less than three seconds.
She tried to convince herself that she couldn’t trust her eyes.
Either that, or the Nether Wolf Tiger was too weak.
Magical beasts were divided into different levels as well, and this one had to be one of the weaker ones.
Sun Jingyu and her team were shadowing Feng Wu’s team without getting too close.
Through the gaps between branches, they saw how Feng Wu killed the Nether Wolf Tiger with one strike. Sun Jingyu said to her teammates, “See? I told you Feng Wu was good.”
Gu Xingyuan’s face darkened.
